The Story Behind Almas Russia

We introduce Gulf families and friends to Northern Russia, with Arabic-speaking hosts and time to enjoy each place.

Maria

Your Arabic-speaking host in St. Petersburg

For me, a good trip starts with a conversation: who is coming, what you want to see and what pace suits your family. Those details shape the program, from walks around St. Petersburg to Ladoga or the Arctic.

We are a small team. We discuss accommodation, meals and prayer breaks in advance, and explain the route’s limits: weather, long journeys and service availability.

Tell me about your trip. We’ll start with dates and preferences, then prepare a first itinerary.

Why Almas Russia

We live here

St. Petersburg, Karelia, Murmansk — these are our places. We guide them ourselves and know what works for families with kids.

Built around your group

Kids' ages, pace, what rest looks like for you — we shape the days around that. Changes before you fly and again on the ground.

No fuss on the road

Private transport, time to rest and places to stay along your route. Sometimes a quiet lakeside dinner is better than another sightseeing stop.

WhatsApp in the evening

Maria or Anna help clarify your travel plans. We aim to reply within 2 working hours: daily 09:00–21:00 Moscow time (UTC+3).

Our principles

Routes we know firsthand

We are based in St. Petersburg and drive these roads ourselves — we do not resell someone else's coach tour.

Your group only

A private minivan for 2–8 guests. No strangers sharing the ride, and no coach markup built into the price.

We reply in Gulf hours

We aim to reply within 2 working hours: daily 09:00–21:00 Moscow time (UTC+3). During your trip, your host stays reachable on your agreed channel.

Details agreed ahead

We discuss meals, accommodation and prayer breaks. If a request cannot be met along your route, we tell you before booking.

Comfort is in the preparation, not the price tag

In practice, that looks like this:

  • Dietary requirements and available options discussed before travel
  • Weather backup routes ready in advance, written into your itinerary
  • Accommodation chosen for your route, budget and family’s needs
  • A brief daily WhatsApp update: tomorrow's plan and who hosts you
